Milo is a girl who is getting over the heartbreaking loss of her Father. To feel closer to him she decides to follow in her Dad's footsteps and take over his Mule deer tracking project. She heads out to the treehouse intent on reading until it was closer to time for the mule deer to cross that area of the woods. A family of Mule Deer show up early, the same family she has been keeping tabs on and the young female fawn is the one Milo needs to tag. She swiftly gets the dart gun and pulls the trigger but what she finds in the spot were the fawn should be is a boy. Dressed in a tux and her tranquilizer dart sticking in his stomach.
After some time and much panic from Milo the boy wakes up to have no memory of who he is or how he had gotten there. Milo is certain that is was from the tranquilizer so she takes the boy, who she starts to call Nick, to her home to try and sort everything out. But as time goes on more weird thing happen and it just bring more questions with it, like who and what is nick?
I thought this was a good book, started slow for me but it picked up the more I read. I kept wondering what is Nick?! It turned out to be not what I expected and of course leaves of with a cliffhanger. I will pick up the next book in this series when it's available. I think this is a great YA book and recommend it!
