Pretty Sacrifices Blog Tour

In the post-apocalyptic world following a pandemic, dark angels arrive in Glory Templeton’s small hometown to claim the eternal souls of her loved ones. Targeted by evil because of her heroism during the great plague, Glory fights back with the help of gutsy young witch Kaia, inexperienced guardian angel Sasha, and her intrepid demon-fighting dog Hallelujah. Complicating everything, a rift in time reunites Glory with an old flame and forces her to pay a huge price for love.

A thrilling tale of courage, faith, and fighting the good fight.

Pretty Sacrifices is the sequel to the bestselling urban fantasy, Glory, which was nominated by the American Library Association for their 2011 Best Paperbacks for Young Adults List. Genesis, the third novel in The Legend of Glory trilogy, is forthcoming.

Pretty Sacrifices take off right where book 1, Glory, left off. (My review for Glory can be found HERE) Everyone is trying to get back to a normal routine after the pan-plague swept through the World and Glory's small home town of Union.  Glory is starting her Senior year of High School and trying to put the events of saving her Mother and basically the Human race with the antidote in her blood behind her. That is until she sees two new students that are hell bent on turning Glory's world upside down and of course Glory being Glory she takes matters into her own hands. We get to see a revisit of some of the side Characters from book one which is always great! Dominic makes his Grand appearance, I don't know how Glory can keep her hands off him really, He's the Angel that is after her heart but Glory is still torn between Dominic and Zane. We don't see as much of Zane in this book but what you do get will really open your eyes about his character and make you fall in love with him all over again. Glory really has her hands full with these too and I'm glad I'm not in her shoes having to pick between the two!
As the story unfolds Glory realizes she needs her witch friends and might just have to call upon a favor. Kaia's character has some life changing decisions to make in this book, she is such a strong female character and I really started to love her character more in this book.
This book was really great, I had a hard time putting it down. There's plenty of action to keep you glued to your seat and you'll want to keep reading to see what choices Glory makes and how it will effect the rest of the story. If you haven't started this series, DO IT! You'll love it!
